HIS 6500 - Introduction to Modern Ideologies 3 Credit(s) Hours: 3 hrs.
Revolutions and vast social movements characterized the 20th century. These events involved a great conflict of ideologies or points of views about capitalism, individuality and the power of the state. We examine the central ideologies of fascism, Marxism, communism and liberalism. In doing so, we look at the history of important historical figures such as Lenin, Hitler, Mussolini and Stalin.
